Let’s jump on a plane and travel far away!

It’ll take more than just one day.

By crossing the ocean

Our itinerary will be in motion.

The first stop is taller than tall,

And really makes you feel quite small.

Standing atop the Eiffel Tower,

Enjoying the view needs more than an hour.

Our next location

Needs little explanation.

Let’s cross the Channel to a city

That’s really quite pretty.

Rising from the River Thames

Is one of England’s gems.

With intricate hands that tell the time,

Big Ben is quite sublime.

Hurry! – don’t miss the flight to Rome!

It’s home of the Vatican and the Basilica’s dome.

Don’t forget to see the Trevi Fountain

Before you cross the Austrian mountains.

Known for its beautiful buildings and delicious food,

Vienna perfectly sets the mood.

Let’s hop on the train

And ride all the way to Spain!

Sevilla’s La Hiralda sits so tall and proud.

Its spire seems to touch the clouds.

We’ll soon be in the country that holds a castle on a ridge.

Visiting the Palacio da Pena with its many colorful hues

Is simply something you must do.

Quick! – One more plane ride to go!

What’s our destination? Do you know?

Our last stop is in Spokane,

Which ends our big travel plan.

The carousel ride and the wagon slide are iconic to Riverfront Park,

And the Pavilion is quite beautiful after dark.

All of these places are so fun,

You can’t visit just one!

Such a case have I of wanderlust…
