Doxology: Echoes of Creation

Emma Cook

Can you hear it?

In the leaves triumphant;

Falling,

Only to take flight,

Forming eddies

In the gentle whisper of

The wind.

In the flock of birds,

Thinking and moving

As one;

An oscillating banner

Adorning

The heights of Heaven.

It’s in the mountain range,

Rising majestically

Above the tallest castle,

With craggy peaks and

Impenetrable cliffs,

The most formidable fortress.

That clear symphony

Of might and grandeur;

Of Something greater

Than you,

Of Someone grander

Than you;

Proclaiming the splendorous wonder

Of He who is beyond

Time and Space.

Can you hear it?
